Sinoyolo is Marsec’s Dux

Learners were rewarded for academic and co-curricular achievements.

Marburg Secondary recently hosted its annual speech and awards day.

The glittering event was well received as learners were rewarded for academic and co-curricular achievements.

Major award winners were Ahlume Yenge, who won the Most Improved Learner award, and Anelisa Mhlauli and Tyler McGowan, who won the Service Above Self and Good Samaritan awards, respectively.

Andiswa Gigaba took home the Good Fellowship award.

Phumla Ngcungama and Khethelo Mazubane were placed third in Grade 12, while Bontle Mogotsi came second.

Sinoyolo Bongwa topped the Grade 12 class of 2024 and was awarded the Dux trophy for her achievements.

Guest speaker Mlondi Mkhize (a former learner) encouraged learners to show passion and perseverance in whatever they pursued.
