PS Secondary’s superstars shine
Jaiden Govender obtained seven distinctions with a 91% aggregate.

Port Shepstone Secondary has once again produced exceptional matric results, upholding the school’s excellent academic record. An enviable 161 distinctions were notched by the 163 candidates.
The most outstanding achiever was Jaiden Govender, who obtained seven distinctions with a 91% aggregate. Jaiden boasts 98% for Mathematics and 96% for both Accounting and Physical Sciences.
He was closely followed by Jezelle Mackayla Govender, with seven distinctions (88% aggregate) and Sphesihle Precious Nqumako, with six distinctions (89% aggregate).
The top achievers pledge that diligence and consistency in their academic studies throughout the year are their recipe for success.
The principal, Yogavani Chetty, congratulated the school on its 91.4 % pass rate in the National Senior Certificate examinations.
The principal, school management team and school governing body extend their gratitude to the teachers for their indelible contributions to the education fraternity and wish the class of 2024 every success in their future endeavours.
