Victory for Jai Hind’s volleyballers
The players and coaches are praised for their dedication to the sport.
Jai Hind Primary showcased exceptional skills at the school’s Volleyball Tournament, Knockout 1 2025, held at the Marburg Sports Complex recently.
The school entered two U12 girls’ teams, one U12 boys team, and one U14 boys team.
The U12 girls’ A team and the U12 boys’ team emerged victorious in their divisions, securing the primary school’s trophy.
Coaches Sushilla Kistamurthy, Ivan Govender, Nerisha Sunker, Reshmee Mathura, Nomaphelo Makhanya, Katinka Harrynanan and Ayush Moodley were praised for their dedication and hard work, with training sessions held during breaks and after school.
Learners in the intermediate and senior phases are now looking forward to the upcoming developmental swimming gala and foundation phase swim-a-thon.
Revision and consolidation for term one assessments are underway.
