Jai Hind launches anti-bullying campaign

The aim is to create unity among learners.

Jai Hind Primary has launched its annual anti-bullying campaign, reinforcing its commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive environment.

The two-week-long initiative began with Odd Socks Day, encouraging learners to embrace individuality.

Learners are participating in various activities, including a poster-making competition, a colouring competition, ‘Anything But Hair’ Day, and Red T-Shirt Day.

The red symbolises ‘stop’ and coincided with Valentine’s Day, spreading the message of love and respect. A special assembly was held, and guests from Saps addressed learners on the dangers of human trafficking and bullying.

This year’s theme, ‘Kindness’, highlights the importance of treating others with compassion and understanding. By raising awareness of individual differences, the school aims to promote unity and harmony among learners.

The school is dedicated to creating a no-bullying zone, where every child feels safe, valued and respected.
