Creston celebrates achievers

The week ended on a high note with honours and awards ceremonies for the senior primary and high school phases.

It was a proud week at Creston College with a blend of sporting spirit and academic celebration.

The high school hosted round two of the hockey fixtures, welcoming teams from Port Shepstone and Suid-Natal High on April 17. It was a day filled with good sportsmanship and determination from all players.

The week ended on a high note with honours and awards ceremonies for the senior primary and high school phases last Friday.

These events recognised outstanding achievements from term one across academics, sport, service and leadership. Top of grade awards were announced and high achieving learners received honours for their exceptional contributions.

Top of grade, full colours and honours recipients are: Jaden Jesson (top of Grade 11), Roxanne Senekal (top of Grade 8), Yuliya Gounden (top of Grade 9), Emir Sahli (full colours – karate), Azande Nyamende (full colours – community service), Athule Mbili (top of Grade 10), Emily Tarboton (honours – dancing), Joel Snyman (junior full colours – swimming), Emma Thompson (junior full colours – swimming) and Priyanka Judnarain (top of Grade 12).
