Theagan became the first Suidie to receive the prestigious Gold Hammer Badge - a recognition awarded for embodying the school's core values of respect, loyalty, honesty, reliability and dutiful.

In a year filled with exceptional accomplishments and inspiring leadership, Theagan Adiah has emerged as one of the brightest stars of 2025 at Hoërskool Suid-Natal.

Through dedication, hard work and commitment to excellence, he has earned numerous accolades that reflect both academic success and outstanding personal character.

As the LSEN Head Prefect of 2025, Theagan has set an exemplary standard of leadership, guiding peers with integrity, compassion and vision. His ability to motivate others and uphold school values has left a lasting impression on staff and students alike.

Among his notable achievements, Theagan was named Top Achiever in his Practical Subject (Maintenance), demonstrating remarkable skill, creativity and perseverance in hands-on learning. His attention to detail and problem-solving ability has made him a role model in the workshop and classroom alike.

Making history, Theagan became the first Suidie to receive the prestigious Gold Hammer Badge – a recognition awarded for embodying the school’s core values of respect, loyalty, honesty, reliability and dutiful. This achievement stands as a proud testament to his character and dedication.

Further highlighting his excellence, Theagan received the LSEN Suidie of the Year 2025 Award, honouring his academic and personal growth, as well as the LSEN Leadership Award 2025, celebrating his positive influence within the school community.

His consistent academic effort was also recognised with the Silver Merit Certificate for LSEN Academics.
Teachers describe Theagan as “a student who leads with his heart and inspires others through his actions.”
