Creston College celebrates achievement and leadership

Jaden Jesson was named Dux at the final prize-giving

Creston College celebrated its Grade 12 learners at the final prize-giving ceremony on October 13, with Jaden Jesson named Dux.

She also received several additional awards and Academic Honours with Tie in recognition of achieving a year-to-date aggregate of 90%, which is an outstanding academic achievement.

The Grade 12 Valedictory Ceremony marked a memorable farewell to the Class of 2026. The traditional signing-out and bell-ringing ceremony symbolised the end of their school journey and the beginning of an exciting new chapter.

The prefect body recognises learners entrusted with leadership and service. Two new positions, Head of Girls’ Sport and Head of Boys’ Sport, have been introduced to strengthen sporting participation and excellence.

Earlier in the month, the high school’s annual Interhouse Plays showcased learners’ creativity and stage talent through original productions.

The Creston Classic was another highlight, bringing learners, families and staff together for a fun-filled day of cycling, colour and school spirit. The event was a resounding success, creating lasting memories for the school community.
