DEAR Editor,-
The management and residents of the Flower Foundation wish to express sincere gratitude to all concerned business organisations, service clubs, churches, schools, the South Coast Herald, as well as numerous private individuals for the continued support provided over the years to this ‘home for the aged’ establishment.
Situated in the upper part of the Port Shepstone CBD, in the shadow of the police station (we are grateful for the security which the position offers), the establishment consists of 41 units that currently house 50 residents.
Established in 1955, the Flower Foundation will be celebrating its 60th anniversary next year and although current residents will not be around to witness the next 60th birthday, we rest assured of the continuous wonderful love and care shown by the South Coast people for the senior citizens of this community.
Once again, a big thank you to all concerned.
