‘This mailbox is constantly full’

I would never report poor service to the supervisor because nothing would be done and one would only be victimised.

DEAR Editor,-

We refer to the recent article in the South Coast Herald concerning the poor service at the Port Shepstone Licensing Department, as well as subsequent articles that appeared.

The article advised that members of the public who feel they are being ill treated should report the act to a supervisor on duty or to call the HOD of Community Services at 039 3159203. I would never report poor service to the supervisor because firstly, nothing would be done, and secondly, one would only be victimised.

I have experienced years of poor service at the licensing department, which is without a doubt the worse service I have ever come across.

I also wish to advise that each time I have phoned, (and there have been countless times that I phoned over many months), there is a recorded message that says, ‘This mailbox is full and cannot accept messages’. Just so typical of the absolutely disgraceful service at the licensing department.

ILL TREATED
