‘A good education is a right’

I appeal to the school to please do something.

DEAR Editor,-

I was shocked to read the recent article about the situation at Jai Hind. I was aware that my daughter was hardly getting any homework and doing any class work, but assumed that because it was the first term, work may be done at a slower pace.

I recently compared my daughter’s work to another pupil’s in the same grade who has a different teacher and was astounded. It is obvious that my child is totally disadvantaged at present. Is it that hard to find a teacher suited to the grade’s needs?

I don’t know much about how the system works, but we pay school fees and our children have a right to proper education. I appeal to the school to please do something.
