‘This store takes customer service seriously’

Shane asked someone in Durban to purchase the items on my list and had it delivered to Shelly Beach.

DEAR Editor,-

Since relocating to the South Coast six months ago, I have become accustomed to the ‘laid-back’ service that I’m always advised by locals to ‘get used to’.

Finding out that Kosher products for the imminent Easter Passover were simply unobtainable in the area, I enquired from the manager of the Shelly Beach SuperSpar if any such products were on order for his store.

Service like I received demands a special mention of thanks. Shane Weller, the manager in question, apologised that no products were in fact available and he requested a list of what I wanted, promising to ‘try and source these for you.’

I expected that to be the end of it, but two days later Shane called me. He had asked someone in Durban to purchase the items on my list and had it delivered to Shelly Beach!

As their advert always states – I too have found ‘My Spar’! Thank you Shane! Customer service is obviously a priority in your store.
