On behalf of the Rotary Club of Hibiscus Coast (Margate and Uvongo) and Suid-Natal High School, we would like to say thank you very much for the wonderful support the South Coast Herald afforded us.
We would like to extend our gratitude to Vee Ramsayi for his excellent article ‘Sheppie Walks the Talk’ and photography of the Rotary Team Talk dated March 20.
Suid-Natal High hosted Creston College, Margate Middle School, Mcushwa, Port Shepstone High, Sister Joan’s, Southcity Christian College and Hoërskool Suid-Natal for the preliminary round of the Rotary Team Talk in March.
The winning school was Port Shepstone High and best speaker was Renè de la Rey from Suid-Natal High, the school that achieved a very proud second place, with Southcity Christian College coming third. Your support was greatly appreciated – it was a team effort.
We would also like to say thank you to Vee Ramsayi for his wonderful support with the ‘Cancer Walk’ article ‘Stepping Out for Survival’ dated March 27th. The LSEN pupils (Learners with Special Educational Needs) from Suid-Natal High really appreciated Vee Ramsayi’s article and photos, especially since they also won the spirit cup.
