‘Barking must be controlled by dog owners’

It is a dangerous strain on one’s emotional sanity to endure constant barking.

DEAR Editor,-

Constant interruptions throughout the night and day by dog owners’ dogs is an inconsiderate violation to one’s privacy. Residents are having to ‘drive’ the gauntlet daily, chased by dog packs every time they leave or return home.

The obligation lies with the owner to give the pet a home and to control and train it. Think of those who, like me, remain home, perhaps convalescing or retired. It is a dangerous strain on one’s emotional sanity to endure constant barking.

If there is a reason to bark, check and take the appropriate action, if not, discipline your dog. The dog is waiting for your response and so am I!
