Regarding the article on ‘bogus abortion doctors’ in last week’s SCH and HCM spokesman Simon April’s response that “… it is sometimes difficult to act as they (the posters) are sometimes put up overnight” – what a weak response!
Of course most of them are put up overnight, but each and every poster carries a contact telephone number, so surely HCM can track down the ‘doctors’ from these numbers? If necessary they should carry out an under cover operation to trace them.
Year after year we have an outcry from HCM, businesses and residents about the ugly proliferation of these awful abortion posters. There’s a flurry of activity for a week or so and posters are removed and then the whole process simply repeats itself again. A longer-lasting solution must be found and that means tracking down the so-called ‘doctors’ in the posters and fining them large sums of money.
