DEAR Editor,-
On behalf of our team leaders Leila Edwards and Cabri van Zyl, as well as members of the Tweni Crime Watch, we wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to the Lazer 911 staff and control room for their quick response to our call for assistance at 3.30am on the morning of September 22. The control room official was extremely efficient, giving us quick advice, calling the SAPS and going further to despatch Lazer reaction officers to the scene.
What impressed us was that whilst one reaction officer went to the scene of the crime, two other Lazer vehicles were seen actively combing escape routes in an attempt to arrest the suspects. In this way, Lazer 911 went the extra mile to help us fight crime in Tweni.
We also noted that even though it was not a Lazer 911 client, the company response was highly efficient and praiseworthy. For that we can only commend this company for putting the lives of people first.
