OPINION: ‘Lindo is an asset to the SPCA’

Mention must be made of his total commitment and empathy for the dogs and the way in which he handled them.

DEAR Editor,-

We are not sure how, but two dogs entered our property and were having a wonderful time in the wide open space and grounds of Sappersglen Retirement Village last Friday, January 3.

Resident May Messina heard a commotion as the dogs started disrupting the guinea fowl and their chicks.

We finally managed to get them contained in May’s back courtyard.

Sincere thanks go to trainee inspector Lindo Mbele from the LSC SPCA for coming to collect them.

Mention must be made of his total commitment and empathy for the dogs and the way in which he handled them.

He was very gentle, polite, totally committed to his job and deserves many accolades – we give Lindo ten out of ten.

He is definitely an asset to the SPCA.
