DEAR Editor,-
We came down for a week from Cape Town to stay at St Michael’s and cannot believe how many potholes there are.
There are many that are dangerously deep, especially for drivers like me who haven’t been to the South Coast for a few years.

Fixing potholes is a simple, yet important thing to do – even if it is temporary.
I would wager that a few teams from the municipality could sort the whole problem out in two weeks flat.
So disappointing that, at this level, nothing appears to be happening.
Is there something fundamentally broken at the municipality?
Have they no pride?
