Wow! It was so lovely to see the beautiful chariots for the Kavady Festival in Park Rynie last Saturday.
Not much happens in the area, so it was great to see a big and beautiful event like this happen locally.

One thing that did make me quite upset was a motorist who simply did not respect the religious event and honked at the people while they walked the streets.
The driver didn’t even wait for a gap and drove his vehicle in between people as they walked towards the temple.
Regardless of which religious group you belong to, it is very important to respect people of all religions – treat others the way you wish to be treated.
