Young talent showcased
Mall manager, Jayne Munro, said it was a pleasure to honour local talent, saying that they wanted to highlight and embrace the unique talent on the South Coast.
Southcoast Mall provided shoppers with a unique opportunity to see some local talent during a recent talent search competition.
The event not only showcased some talented and enthusiastic participants but also showed the importance of empowering young talent.
Sanitha Amod, Marketing Manager of South Coast Mall, said it was wonderful to see the support this event received.
“We thank every entrant, as every act on stage was a tribute to local talent,” she said.

“This event did just that,” said Munro.
From exhilarating dances to some great singing from learners of various schools made judging a difficult task, however, the winners were announced with loud applause and screams from the audience.
In first place in the primary school section was Port Shepstone Senior Primary learner Sizolwethu Ngidi, who performed a dance item.
Runner-up was Suid-Natal Primary’s Miné Brits, who also danced.
The high school winners were learners from St Martin de Porres Comprehensive School, Amahle Ngidi, Sinoxolo Mwokiyana and Owami Phakathi, who performed a heartwarming poem.
Runner-up was Khwezi Ngidi of Port Shepstone High who sang a song.
All the winners walked away with some amazing prizes.
