Recognised for her unique flair for fashion, Bobhoyi’s Nomalanga Shozi was recently named the Most Stylish Entertainer during GLAMOUR magazine’s GLAMOURous Awards held in Cape Town.
The Most Stylish Entertainer Award was sponsored by Foschini.
The organisers said with Shozi’s charismatic presence and impeccable sense of style, she effortlessly captivates audiences both on and off stage.
As a TV presenter and media personality, they added, Shozi’s unique flair for fashion earned her recognition as one of the most stylish entertainers in the industry.
“Whether she is gracing the red carpet or hosting events, she always brings her A-game and puts her best foot forward. Nomalanga is simply a force,” they said.
The former Marburg Secondary learner was recognised alongside former Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi, Crystal Birch, Nandi Madida, Nicole Ogle, Thembi Seete, Yaya Mavundla, Palesa Mokubung, Abigail Kubheka, Wijdan Hendricks, Thobeka Mbane, Rushda Moosajee aka RushTush and more.
Meanwhile, Shozi said to be honoured was an honour.
“God. You did your big one. Thank you to the Glamour and Foschini teams for such an incredible honour. Thank you to every creative I have ever crossed paths with who has contributed to this moment. I love you so much. How you make me feel through your craft enables me to inspire and continue to shine for the next young girl just like me. According to the organisers, guests flocked to Cape Town, embodying the essence of Glamour magazine to honour the recipients of the esteemed accolade.
The 2024 theme was Iconic Fashion.
“The event was in partnership with Bernini South Africa. The highly anticipated event took centre stage at Zeitz Mocaa, set against the befitting backdrop of Table Mountain. The stage was set for a memorable evening dedicated to female empowerment and a celebration of style, fashion and glamour,” said the organisers, adding that attendees showed up in iconic ensembles, paying homage to the ‘style gods’.
