Warriors minis wrap things up
There's still plenty rugby coming up for older age groups.
The South Coast Warriors minis season has come to an end and, by all accounts, seems to have been a successful one.
The Warriors fielded teams in the U7, U9 and U11 age groups.
During the past few months, the boys have enjoyed the competitive environment and playing as a team.
It has been enjoyable to watch for coaches and parents alike, with matches played in good spirit and the focus being on the rugby and camaraderie and not necessarily the result.
Still, there are some talented players coming through the ranks.
Club chairman Niko Potgieter has done an incredible job creating the wonderful atmosphere for the youngsters to learn the game and thrive.
Most of the credit, probably, should go to his wife, Shannon, for her slick organisational skills.
The senior teams did not play last weekend, and practices continue for the Colts every Wednesday and Friday evenings.
