Boboyi TV presenter needs your vote

The former Marsec pupil, Nomalanga Shozi, is now asking South Coasters to vote for her after she was nominated in the Basadi in Music Awards.

Media personality Nomalanga Shozi has recently been nominated for the Basadi in Music Awards under the category of TV Presenter of the Year.

Shozi is a presenter of SABC 1’s show, The Sauce.

The former Marsec pupil is now asking South Coasters to vote for her so that she can bring the award home.

Originally from Boboyi, Shozi said she is serious about her work and goes the extra mile.

“For me, this is a sign that God sees all our efforts,” she said, asking readers to vote for her.

Producers of The Sauce describe it as ‘more than just an entertainment show’, saying it’s an attitude, a lifestyle, an influencer.

Host Nomalanga has been described as beautiful, charismatic and witty.

She takes viewers on a rollercoaster ride through the week’s hottest, and sometimes weirdest, stories in pop culture.

Along with her weekly guests, she engages in a mix of personal anecdotes and unfiltered opinions, ensuring the viewer is plugged into the trendiest Do’s and Don’ts, all while delivering the latest news from the world of the famous.

The founder of the Basadi in Music Awards, Hloni Modise, said the event celebrates female talent and achievements in the music industry.

She said the all-encompassing awards honour talent such as singers, rappers, DJs, composers, producers and creatives in the music ecosystem.

“The spirit of the awards is to uplift, celebrate and showcase what women can achieve when given the platform to shine,” Hloni said.

“We will also honour generations of women who played heroic roles in the liberation of women in the country, the continent of Africa and the world at large.”

The nominees and winners are voted for by the public.
