Man pleads guilty to stabbing man in Gamalakhe

Sthembile Zulu (25) pleaded guilty to murder and was sentenced to 10 years’ imprisonment on October 1.

Five of the 10 year sentence is suspended for a period of five years.

Gamalakhe police members responded to a call in April this year, where they found the body of a man who had sustained a fatal wound to the chest.

Detective Sergeant Mlungisi Jabe was the investigating officer in the case.

Investigations and eyewitness evidence revealed that the man had been stabbed and was found lying on the road near KwaXaba Tavern.
