Mass patrol keeps coast safe
Afriforum security head, Cliff Holme thanked everyone involved.
A mass patrol was organised by Afriforum South Coast last Friday.
The proactive patrol consisted of an impressive 51 vehicles and 76 members.
A total of 400km were covered, with no incidents reported.
Afriforum security head, Cliff Holme, said the South Coast was divided into three sectors, and each sector held its own patrol.
“Northern sector included Tweni to Hiberdene. Central sector Shelly to Ramsgate and the southern sector Port Edward to Leisure Bay,” he said.
The following stakeholders were involved: Saps, Law Enforcement, emergency services, various security companies, Afriforum and Community Police Forum members.
Holme thanked all those who participated.
“Together, we can keep our areas safe,” he added.
