Mandy Koegelenberg and her son Peter produced age group wins at the recent Capital K open water swim at Midmar Dam.
Mandy, who is the owner and coach of Blue Ocean Aquatics, which trains at the Creston College pool, swam in the 41-50 age group in the 1km swim and clocked a time of 00:18:52.
Peter swam the 3km event and placed first in the 13 and under age group in a time of 00:48:57.
He went on to swim the 1km event 90 minutes later and finished second in the 13 and under age group in a time of 00:16:15
His older sister Kirsty swam in the 14-30 age group and placed seventh overall in a time of 00:15:50.
Kyle Solomon swam in the 14-30 age group and produced a time of 00:21:22.
