Former Sinenkani Football Club winger Sandile Mathumbu recently debuted in the professional ranks after signing with Milford Football Club.
Milford FC played against the University of Pretoria.
His debut game ended in a one-all draw.
In a statement, his former team, Sinenkani FC, said Mathumbu recently went for an assessment, saying they knew he would impress them with his skills.
The club said the winger has been part of the team in the last 16 of the Nedbank Cup and was a key player.
“We are happy about Sandile’s achievements. Being a young talent from rural Mahaha in Mbizana, this should inspire others that the promised land is possible for all of us. We wish him the best in his career and hope that he will achieve greater heights in football,” said the club.
