Four teams will compete in the rugby tournament: Amangcesha, Esayidi Eagles, Gamalakhe Black Bulls Rugby Club (Gamalakhe) and South Coast Warriors (Uvongo).
The Gamalakhe Black Bulls Rugby Club is fully prepared for the Southern KwaZulu-Natal Rugby Union’s tournament at Douglas Mitchell Sports Grounds in Uvongo this Saturday (22nd).
Four teams will be competing: Amangcesha from KwaNzimakwe (Munster), Esayidi Eagles (Port Shepstone), Gamalakhe Black Bulls Rugby Club (Gamalakhe) and South Coast Warriors (Uvongo).
According to Lethu Scebi, the Black Bulls are fully prepared and eager to compete in the tournament.
“Our team has had hard practice sessions at Genesis Sports Ground, Gamalakhe TB Molefe and Nyandezulu. People can expect to see a display of passion, dedication, and the spirit of rugby as we face off against our opponents. We are ready to showcase our strength as a revitalised team and make our supporters proud,” he said.
He added that the aim is victory in the tournament; however, their goal is to perform to the best of their abilities and demonstrate the progress they have made as a team.
Scebi said they expect to learn and grow from each match, regardless of the outcomes.
“Winning is certainly a goal, but we also want to focus on teamwork, sportsmanship, and the invaluable experience that comes from competing at this level. Our supporters can look forward to a thrilling tournament filled with determination and competitive spirit as we strive to make our mark as the Gamalakhe Black Bulls Rugby Club,” he said.
