Sinenkani FC matches resume
Sinenkani FC was ordered to pay R20 000 during the disciplinary hearing.
The ban on Sinenkani FC has been lifted after a disciplinary hearing with the South African Football Association (SAFA).
All Sinenkani FC matches were suspended after the club allegedly conducted itself unprofessionally during a recent match.
In a statement, the club said they received a guilty verdict and were ordered to pay R20 000.
“Sinenkani FC was ordered to play their next two games behind closed doors without supporters, and the club was also ordered to cover costs of the sitting of the disciplinary hearing. We also received communication from SAFA that the ban on our games has been lifted, and we are expected to honour the online ABC Motsepe League fixtures. Our supporters must note that our next two games will be streamed live on our Facebook page. We urge our supporters to remain calm rather than be distracted by external forces,” read the statement.
Sinenkani FC will face G-Millionaires and FC Siyanda for the next two games.
Meanwhile, the club said although it accepted the outcome of the disciplinary hearing, it felt it was not allowed to fully present its side of the story.
