Plant fair showcases all things green

All things gardening were celebrated at the South Coast Plant and Garden Fair held at the St John’s Lutheran Church in Shelly Beach last Saturday.

An array of indigenous, exotic and indoor plants, garden plants, collector plants, airplants, orchids, bonsai, cut flowers and foliage, herbs, honey, vegetables and more were available at the fair.

The organiser of the fair, Ruth Mathias, said there were also talks and demonstrations from expert growers.

Also, the event featured a tea garden with hot and cold drinks, cakes and wors rolls.
