Jubilation filled the maternity wards of Port Shepstone Regional Hospital as new mothers were surprised by a visit from KwaZulu-Natal Legislature speaker, Nontembeko Boyce recently.
Boyce, who hails from Margate, did not come empty-handed, as she showered new moms with gifts. These gifts warmed the hearts of mothers who could not spend Christmas and New Year’s Day with their families.

She further highlighted the importance of mothers pursuing their career aspirations while remaining committed to raising a healthy nation by adhering to clinical guidance throughout their babies’ developmental stages.

During the visit, the speaker distributed hampers to 99 patients across the wards.
