Dogs in Action go ‘walkies’

A GROUP of handlers and their dogs from Dogs in Action took a break from their usual obedience ‘clever classes’ on Sunday and trainer, Yvonne Eland, led them on a group walk instead.

Handlers entered into the fun of Easter and donned ‘Easter bonnets’ and the dogs sported colourful bandanas, scarves and two even had their hair coloured! The group walked from the Margate Bowling Club to the Margate Fishing Pier, then stopped for a welcome ice cream and water for the dogs at Wimpy, before returning to their cars.

The well-behaved dogs had the opportunity to show off their fine obedience skills and both handlers and dogs had an absolute ball.
