Creston does battle with Felixton
Lloyd Bristow and his performing dogs taught pupils a few handy dog-handling tricks.
CRESTON College has a long-standing relationship with Felixton College from Empangeni and this year it was Creston’s turn to host the annual winter fixture against these friends from the North Coast. Two days of sport took place with girls and boys from both schools competing on very even terms. The school is grateful to Felixton for making the trip down to Creston College.
The 1st team results were 1st XV rugby, Creston College won 53-7; 1st XI boys’ hockey, Creston lost 2-3, and 1st XI girls’ hockey, Creston lost 2-3.
Recently the school had a visit from dog trainer, Lloyd Bristow and his performing dogs. Pupils in the pre-primary, junior primary, as well as from the Wonderland Special Needs School were entertained by a wonderful dog show. The dogs performed a variety of interesting tricks and Lloyd showed the Creston pupils some useful dog handling skills.
