Riders scramble to success

Riders enter from all around the world.

THE Erzbergrodeo Red Bull Hare Scramble in Austria saw Wade Young and Blake Gutzeit hold their own and claim top 20 finishes.

Young, who rides for Brother KTM, was racing for the second time and finished 13th.

Gutzeit, who rides for Cargo-Tac Husqvarna Factory Racing, wasn’t far behind, ending up in a pretty impressive 16th place on debut.

Scott Bouverie unfortunately got injured and had to withdraw.

The race is regarded as the toughest dirt bike race in the world, and only a handful of riders cross the finish line.

It’s basically a race up a mountain. Riders come from around the world. Only the fastest 500 riders qualify.
