WINNERS of the Hibiscus Retirement Village’s men’s trips were Shane Nienaber, Jonathan (aka Dog) Jacobson and Johnny Louch on 4+13. Runners-up were John Sutton, Tony Simmonds and Mannie Rodrigues on 4+8. Session went to Andrea Blighnaut, Ian Hutton and Brian Smalberger on 2+12, and the 50/50 went to John Sutton. The next men’s trips will be August 5.
The Hair Shoppe women’s fours was won by Esta Wenzel, Lenie Geyer, Georgie McKechnie and Jean Bouverie on 24+15. Runners-up on 22+18 were Sheena Absolom, Vickie de Beer, Yvonne James and Helen Southward, and the 50/50 went to Elbie Snyman.
Ann Church won the monthly draw and second prize went to Martiens Olivier. The Durban July winners were Eula Greer, Barbara Jackson, John Ford and Ann Church.
Invitations for all recent top performers at the KBA novice singles champs have gone out for the Seagreen Holdings invitational novice pairs. This new competition is to encourage novices and will be held at the club on August 1 and 2.

WINNERS of the Margate Panel Beater’s men’s 2-4-2 last Friday were Dieter Scholtz and John Sutton on 4+23, runners-up were Gary Hess and Chris Abram on 4+21. Athol Robertson and Tys Pringle took first session on 2+13 and Gino Alilovic and Danny McCarthy took the second session on 2+9.
