National netball champs a success
It was all hype and action at this year’s National Netball Tournament held on the South Coast.
THE South African all ages netball tournament at the Ugu Sports and Leisure Centre last week was a success and the results are final.
More than 20 teams took part in each age group and a closing ceremony for the event was held last Friday, where the winners were announced.
The action packed tournament saw many girls forming friendships and having a spirit of never giving up, all in the name of netball.
The results were:
U/12 gold medal: Impala (North West)
U/13 gold medal: Bakwena (North West)
U/14 gold medal: Gauteng Delta
U/15 gold medal: Impala (North West)
U/16 gold medal Oaks (Western Cape)
U/17 gold medal: Oaks (Western Cape)
LSEN gold medal: Western Cape
U/18 gold medal: Cedars (Western Cape)
