A driving experience like no other…
Guided by professional race instructors, the Audi Sports Car Experience was a day of pure driving pleasure.
THE Audi Sports Car Experience, hosted in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban also touched the shores of the South Coast.
On Wednesday this week, a number of Audi fans gathered at Dezzi Raceway, Oslo Beach to experience this adrenaline pumping, hands-on driving experience designed especially for performance car enthusiasts like themselves.
The drivers got behind the wheels of a range of Audi RS models such as the Audi RS Q3, Audi RS 4 Avant, Audi RS 5 Coupe and Cabriolet. They also mad full use of the valuable advice offered by an experienced driving instructor.
They undertook laps in the Audi RS 7 Sportback and Audi R8. Lead instructor, Mark Allison said that the Audi Sports Car Experience is a sub brand of Audi Driving Experience. “The Audi Driving Experience has been running in Germany for over 35 years. It started off as a group of guys showing drivers how quatrain works and from there it grew into a huge division,” he said.
“With Audi Sports Car Experience, the drivers were exposed to a lot of technical information, not about the cars, but more about their driving techniques. They got to understand acceleration, stopping power, how to corner and how to work the brakes and accelerator to their advantage.”
Mr Allison reminded drivers that the vision of Audi is to be a number one premium brand worldwide.
