Rugby kicks tennis to touch at Tweni
Foxy Norton is back with an interesting serve.
AS usual, rugby lured many players away from the Umtentweni Tennis Club courts last Saturday, but those who were there had enjoyable tennis and were treated to tasty sarmies and a delicious tart provided by Anne Payn.
Jill Badenhorst is home after her knee op but is experiencing a lot of pain. Persevere with the physio, Jill, as it will help your knee to heal more quickly.
Foxy Norton is back in action albeit using an underarm serve which is really ‘foxy’ to read and return.
Members thank Chloë Dutton for spraying the ants around Court 1 and also in the kitchen cupboards.
The Christmas get-together will be held on December 6 in the form a spit-braai. Please put your names up on the list at the club in order to facilitate catering arrangements.
