Tweni TC’s Mervyn returns from Down Under
Men are reminded about the men only round robin this Saturday.
SATURDAY tennis was very enjoyable at Umtentweni Tennis Club, thanks to Reel Fincham who was on duty and provided her famous, fabulous scones and delicious sarmies.
Visitors Di Lund and Heloise Cloete gave the Tweni women something to think about and the Tweni-ites had to keep their wits about them in order to outfox the visitors.
Mervyn Tarboton has returned from Oz and it’s good to have him back on the courts. Visitors are welcome to join social tennis on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Men are reminded about the men only round robin this Saturday. Get your name in to Raj Naganna if you’d like to play. Entrance fee is R20.
This will be followed by a spitbraai and members are asked to give their names to Isabeau le Roux by Thursday at the latest to facilitate the catering arrangements.
Trish Wood is on duty this Saturday, December 6, with Chantelle Donald on duty on December 13.
