PRO-Vision Golf and Social Club held its seventh annual awards function and banquet at Action Sports Bar in Marburg last Saturday.
The club was formed in 2007 with only 14 golfers. Over the years it has grown and membership now stands at 50 members.
Ashoo Singh, a veteran of the game, was named as player of the year, while the most promising player of the year award went to Naveshan Moodley.
The chairman’s cup was won by Ricky Naidoo, while the mug winner was Paul Naidoo.
Best nett went to Yugeshan Naidoo and Risheen Goberdan was the most improved player.
Sportsman of the year was Santhos Baskali.
In seven years the club has donated R150 000 to charitable organisations on the South Coast.
The latest recipients were the Umbango River Conservancy and the Port Shepstone Recovery Centre.
