THE Port Shepstone and District Darts Association (PSDDA) held its 37th annual banquet at the Port Shepstone Civic Centre recently.
Players, sponsors and guests were treated to great entertainment and good food. Vice-chairman of the association, Theron Mthelelo, said that to say any particular club had done well would be wrong as all the clubs had done exceptionally well.
A number of awards were handed out and were a reminder to all of how important the sport is to the local community.

The PSDDA 180 knockout winner was Roshan Chattergoon of Rainbo Darts Club and the runner-up was Pravin Sewraj of Jumperz Darts Club.
The Highest 180 was won by Mike Holloway of Lions Darts Club.
Clive Hurn of Strikers Darts Club was the winner of the Highest 171.
The Highest Close 158 award went to Rakesh Ramdhun.
Players who received awards for their performances at the South African Championships hosted in Cape Town in July this year included Rakesh Ramdhun, Sal Musa, Ivan Govender, Melvyn Pillay, Clive Hurn, Donovan Reddy and Risha Manilall.
