THE early spit-and-spot of rain didn’t deter members at Umtentweni Tennis Club from gracing the courts and there were four in action last Saturday.
Visitors, Heloise Cloete and Helgard du Preez, boosted numbers and all enjoyed Elena Whateley’s provisions and set arranging.
Angus Black was back on the courts after a long sojourn and had members trying to remember all his wily shots! Welcome back, Angus.
It was also great to see Pam Grobler back at the club and members wish her a speedy and complete recovery.
Lynne Rorich is visiting her family in Cape Town for a couple of weeks and members wish her an enjoyable stay in the mother city.
