Cycle racing on the South Coast
The event catered for cyclists from under 10 years to 65 years and older.
ALL roads led to Dezzi Raceway last Sunday for the 2015 Chainworx KwaZulu-Natal Road Cycling Series.
KZN Cycling is determined to uplift the local community by allowing school pupils to compete in this event. Where parents are too scared to let their children cycle on the road, the aim of this event was to allow children to race on a closed motor racing circuit, free from public transport, open to all age groups on any type of bicycle in a safe environment.

Last held in 2013, the Chainworx KwaZulu-Natal Road Cycling Series re-established itself at Dezzi Raceway. A major drawcard of the event was that it catered for cyclists from under 10 years to 65 years and older. This series will be used as a qualifier for the Badplaas Youth Festival from July 2-5. R10 000 prize money up was up for grabs across the various age groups in each event.
