EACH year, the spotlight falls on a different chosen marque at the Scottburgh Classic Car Show and 2017 will be the year of the big, flashy, fabulously finned and chromed American petrol guzzlers.
However, with car clubs from all over South Africa taking part, there will be something for everyone. As usual, the show will offer a huge and varied display of pre-1975 classic cars and motorcycles as well as several parades to entertain the whole family.
Planning for this year’s show, which takes place at Scottburgh High School on Sunday July 16, is now well under way.
This will be be the eighth annual charity show organised by the Scottburgh Classic Car Club.
The Rising Sun community newspaper will again sponsor it, making this the seventh year it will be involved in the project. .
The entrance for pedestrians will be changed from last year so that walking down steps onto the show field will be avoided.
