Come pedal for patients

Come and enjoy a fun filled family day while supporting a wonderful cause.

FOR the sixth year running Halfway Toyota will be the main sponsor for South Coast Hospice’s annual Pedal for Patients event held at Lake Eland Game Reserve on August 26.

This popular family event starts at 7am. Come and enjoy a fun filled family day while supporting a wonderful cause. There will be breakfast rolls, tea and coffee for sale for spectators before the start.

There will be a bicycle raffle available for a 29 inch mountain bike sponsored by Dura Cycles. The value of the bike is R5300. Tickets are R10 each and will be available at the Lions’ Show or from BT King directly. There will also be spot lucky draw prizes while on route.

Send proof of payment and details of the event you are entering to fundraising@schospice.co.za. Entries will close on August 23 but will also be available on the day.

A hundred Zipline vouchers will be given to the first 100 pre-entries.

* The 25km cycle is R80 and starts at 9am.

* The 10km walk/run costs R40 and starts at 9.15am.

* The 6km cycle costs R30 and starts at 9.30am.

Please note the briefing starts at 8.30am and – as this is a family fun event – no official timing or prizes will be allocated or noted. There will be a R20 gate entry fee.
