GRACE Fourie won the women’s competition at Margate Country Club last Tuesday on 37 points, counting out Una McLachlan. In third place was Lexley Lewis on 36 points.

Wednesday’s Wobblers’ game saw Bob Weanie, Dave Boyd, Hanz Beilhartz and ‘Casper’ win on 92 points.

Runners-up were Piet Pretorius, Dolf Willemse, André Henn and Frank Merrill on 90 points.

Carlos Perreira won the Carreira/Curlewis Cup’s latest competition (Week 23) on 43 points, counting out Sbu Ntozakhe.

Flip Fourie was third on 41 points. Sbu Ntozakhe (4th) and Alan Davies (16th) were nearest the pins.

Friday’s business day was won on 98 points by Bobby Wagner, Guy Yeadon, Graham Gold and Hans van der Walt.

Counted out into second place were Vusie Maphumulo, Sbu Ntozakhe, Koko Zithumane and Mngobi Godongwane.

Nearest the pins were Bruce Matthew (4th) and Graeme Massam (11th).

It was monthly mug time last Saturday, with Ivan Curlewis showing he’s still got it, carding nett 72, to count out Sbu Ntozakhe.

In the B division Fanie Terblanche cleaned up on nett 69, two ahead of Rob Weyer.

Keith Duncalf had the countout to thank for first place in the C division, edging out Thys Bothma on 38 points.

Nearest the pins were Sydney Shingange (4th) and Louw van Niekerk (11th).

Maureen Ogilvie won the women’s medal on nett 67.
