Tamil golf day well supported at Port Shepstone Country Club
The golf day is one of this association's major fund-raising events.
ALMOST 70 players enjoyed a wonderful day of golf while taking part in the annual Port Shepstone Tamil Association’s golf day at Port Shepstone Country Club last week Sunday.
Although golfers were faced with some chilly weather, they made the best of their time on the greens and were treated by the organisers to lunch as well, after prize-giving.

Port Shepstone Tamil Association’s PRO Bobby Naidoo told the Herald that the golf day is one of this association’s major fund-raising events enabling them to raise the necessary money to undertake various projects.
The day’s activities started in the early morning, with golfers supporting a worthy cause.
Winners were Andre Rabie and Ivan Fabricius on 51 points, with Jacky Khawula and Ian Mkhize in second, Peppy Govender and ‘BR’ Govender third, Koko Zithumane and Godfrey Zithumane fourth and Dr Ayoob Bux and Ganes Munsami fifth. Justin Pillay won the prize for the longest drive.
