Curnow KZN & Insbro (insurance brokers) held its first annual golf day at Port Shepstone Country Club last Friday. It was played on a different, fun format.
The point was more about raising funds, than winning prizes.

Club president John Beekman was delighted to announce after the golf that Curnow KZN and Sandy Guthrie had donated R30 000 to the club.
An auction was also held and this raised R6000 which will go to South Coast Hospice. The auctioneer who assisted was Lane Allan.
The day was won by Jochen Dufner, Craig Charlton, Billy Lorenzo and Keegan Lorenzo.
In regular news, Wednesday’s betterball was won on 46 points by Nick Wattrus and Paul Geoffery .
In a tie for second place on 44 points were Stuart Betts and Brett Pollington, as well as Wendy Timmer and Greg Hornby.
Saturday’s betterball was won on 49 points by John Bower and Chris Boyce, counting out Sanjay Singh and Roly Shaw.
Leon Reeders and Ralph van der Berg were third on 48 points.
