The Wobblers competition at Margate Country Club last week was won by Jim Finn, John Gibson and Johan Hulshuf on 89 points.
Runners-up were Piet Pretorius, Derek Young and Frank Merrill on 84 points, with third going to Dolf Willemse, Wayne Minnaar and Louie Gous on 81 points.

Thursday’s Carreira Curlewis Cup (week 35) saw Alan Davies take first spot on 35 points, edging out Colin Iddon and John Webster, who both had 34 points.
Saturday’s betterball (where holes 10 and 18 were played twice) was won on 47 points by Johan Erasmus and Johan Stoltz.
Next were Louw van Niekerk and Fanie Terblanche on 46 points, with Graeme Massam and Wayne Minnaar on 43 points.
