Surfer Mayah Potgieter comes close in Ballito

Mayah Potgieter recently surfed the North Coast Board Riders champs and won the U12 division.

She also place third in the U16 division.

This past weekend she surfed the prestigious Billabong Ballito pro junior and placed third in the U12 finals.

She won her semi-final heat en route to the finals.

South African surfing legend Shaun Tomson was there to hand out the prizes.
