Darters on target at youth development day
Twelve club members assisted the youth with understanding the game.
Port Shepstone District Darts Association (PSDDA) hosted a fun-filled Youth Development Day at Quenchers in Umtentweni recently.
PSDDA chairman Danny Govender said that the objective was to develop the sport, more especially with the youth.

“This game involves numbers, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, thereby enhancing their mathematics skills,” explained Mr Govender.
PSDDA hosted 24 children.
“Six Ray Nkonyeni Municipality sport confederation executives and 12 of our own club members assisted the youth with understanding the game of darts and coordinating the game on the day.”
The club also hosted a singles tournament on the day.
Nhlakanipho Bengu took first position, Sboniso Matubane second, Denton Naido third and Advay Prakash fourth.
